How to Export Grid Data to Excel

Prerequisites
The Export option must be enabled on your grid. If you don't see it, contact your Grid Administrator to enable export for your grid configuration.
Step-by-Step: Exporting Grid Data
Step 1 – Open the grid menu
Click the 9 dots menu icon on the grid Action toolbar. Or the console might display Export button in the toolbar itself.
Step 2 – Select Export
Choose Export from the dropdown.
Step 3 – Download the file
An Excel file (.xlsx) downloads to your computer with the grid data.
Important: the export reflects your current view. Any filters, sorting, or grouping you've applied are carried into the file, and hidden columns are left out. To export the complete dataset, clear all filters and use Load All before you export.
What the File Includes
- All visible columns in the grid.
- Data in its current view — active filters, sorting, and grouping are applied to the file.
- Hidden columns are not included.
- For grouped grids, the data is flattened into rows.
The file contains raw data only — it won't carry the grid's styling, colors, or conditional formatting.
