1. Navigating to the IC Console
You can access the IC Console in several ways:
From the Renewal Project Console, click the gear icon next to a project or IC, or use the menu bar option to open the IC Console.
Click the arrow next to the IC number to open a specific IC’s view.
Open the Internal Contracts tab to view all ICs across assigned renewal projects.
Contextual Filtering:
If you navigate from the Renewal Project Console, the IC list will already be filtered to only those within the selected project.
If you open the IC Console via the Internal Contracts tab, it shows all ICs for your assigned renewal projects.
2. IC Console Layout and Filters
The IC Console displays each Internal Contract’s key details:
- IC Number
- Account Name
- Manufacturer
- Renewal Stage
- Expiration Date
- Total Number of Assets
- Asset status breakdown (due for renewal, in progress, processed)
Filtering Options
Server Filters – e.g., Account, Stage; click the + icon for extra filters such as Renewal Project, IC ID, or Earliest End Date.
Column Filters – refine by specific fields (e.g., Expiration Date < Sep 2025, Number of Assets).
Combined Filtering – Server and column filters work together for a focused view.
Reset Filters – Use the reset button to return to the original console view.
💡 Tip: When many contracts are displayed, use the arrow beside a project name to collapse or expand the list, keeping focus on the ICs you want.
3. Actions in the IC Console
Using the 9-dots menu, you can:
Export – Download IC data into Excel for offline review, internal collaboration, or sharing.
Refresh – Reload the view to reflect recent updates, filter changes, or edits.
4. Analyze for Co-term
When you select one or more ICs from the same Renewal Project:
Additional buttons appear, including Show IC Items and Analyze for Co-term.
Co-term Analysis helps you align contract end dates across items to simplify renewals and reduce multiple renewal events.
The Co-Term Analysis dialog summarizes:
Total items per Asset List
Current end dates
Whether items are already aligned
If items share the same or close end dates, they’re good co-term candidates. Otherwise, you may split them into separate Asset Lists.
From this view, you can also:
Click Show IC Items to open the item-level view (IC Console minimizes).
Click the arrow beside “Internal Contracts” to return to the IC Console view.
5. Next Steps
Once you’ve analyzed ICs and completed co-term checks:
Move to the IC Items view to review individual products/services.
Select items for renewal and add them to an Asset List.
Proceed with customer validation before requesting vendor pricing.
